We're all homeless boys and girls [Spiritually when we separate from him or if we have not yet developed a close enough relationship to him, we feel this way.]
And we are never heard [We ARE heard. The question is, are we hearing Him or numbing/scattering ourselves to our ability to sense his presence by reaching for Pseudo forms of Peace?]
It's such a lonely world [Yeah, it really can be.]
People turn their heads and walk on by [Okay, but what do we do? Because we develop our relationship with Jesus Christ, we can be the first ones to reach out to others. Kindness starts with me.]
Tell me, is it worth just another try?
Tell me, are we alive, or just a dying planet? [Planet--Zion Community--Peace on Earth--Sustainable Joy for all who desire it. Is this an impossible goal to achieve?]
What are the chances? [Can we really prepare ourselves to receive our Savior in his Second Coming? Will we be ready for him?]
Ask the man in your heart for the answers
And when you feel afraid, love one another [Learn what it means to love like Christ loves. It's about being obedient to his commandments, both generally and in the specific situations we find ourselves. It's not always about continuously giving hand-outs. Sometimes it's about withholding them (I know that's the case with my own children). When we listen to the Spirit, we are personally directed to know what to do for each child of God we are interacting with.]

Lord you just can't let it stop lord [He won't let it stop but we need to be willing to keep his commandments in order to receive this love, in order to pass on this love. It's a covenant relationship because there is an overall purpose to enable us to grow, to become more like him. It's not just about what we can receive. Peace is good. But it's also about what we become--the development of our ability to sacrifice. When we combine receiving with the appropriate level of sacrificing, we experience Joy!]

Got to be free to let love into your life [The truth will make us free. Loving in truth is the way Christ loves. It's not about Willy-Nilly frenzy loving. There is an order to all things. When we learn this order from the Lord and change our hearts, thoughts, words, and actions to align with it, we are set free.]
